Followspot Hire from CAL-X Rentals. You will find this light so easy to use. It is a fantastic followspot packed with great features. As a modern light it makes use of LED technology. This model makes use of a 120W LED, which emits a crisp edged beam with a tight circle. It has great built in features like the CTO filter which helps you match colour temperature to the rest of your lighting. You will find it very easy to set up and take down again. The light has increased flexibility as it offers both DMX and manual control options. You can focus the light where it is needed using the mechanical iris lever which reduces the beam’s diameter.
This followspot is primarily hired for use in theatre lighting but can also be used in film and video production. The back panel has buttons to control functions like dimming, colour adjustment, strobe, and shutter open/closed. These options are also possible via the DMX connection. A manually controlled iris changes the beam angle which can go all the way down to 5°.
A feature never before possible on traditional models is the ability to change the colour of the light. There are eight colour-selection buttons on the back of the fixture. You are able to change the colour of the light from cool white, to warm white, orange, cyan, purple, green, red, and light blue. When you need to you can kill the light with a built in shutter for turning the light on or off on cue.
